AATIA will host an American Translators Association (ATA) certification exam sitting in Austin on July 16, 2016. Exam candidates must be members of ATA for a minimum of four weeks prior to the exam sitting and must have supplied proof that they meet the exam eligibility requirements. The deadline to avoid additional registration fees is two weeks prior to the exam date, but space is limited so candidates are encouraged to apply well before the deadline. Potential candidates are also strongly encouraged to take a practice test before attempting the certification exam. Contact ATA headquarters to register for the exam.
