Conference for translators and interpreters in education to be held in Houston

Harris County Department of Education is bringing translators and interpreters Out of the Shadows and Into the Spotlight at its inaugural professional translators and interpreters conference, to be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Houston.

This event is designed to celebrate and spotlight the vital role of language professionals in our community. Featured speakers will include Dr. Lupita Hinojosa, Houston-area superintendent, who will give the keynote address, and Ms. Natalia Abarca from the Orange County Department of Education.

Early-bird registration ends on June 24th.
