ISIG to meet April 8, 2017

AATIA’s Interpreter Special Interest Group (ISIG) will meet on Saturday, April 8, 2017, to discuss the interpreter’s dual role in today’s challenging environments, where at times the delivery of the message from source language to target language may not be enough for people to navigate through the complexity of the situation at hand. Participants will exchange and discuss experiences, questions, and possible ethical issues.

The group will meet at Malvern Books, 613 West 29th St., Austin, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. For more information, contact ISIG Coordinator Rita Pavone.

Participation in SIGs is open to all AATIA members as a benefit of membership.
