Language testers (multiple languages)

Website Adisa Communicatoins

Adisa Communications is seeking Austin residents who speak various languages to help test translation software to be used on the website of the  City of Austin (www.austintexas.gov) to translate content into multiple languages. The website is still in production mode. Before the new translated content is made public, Adisa’s goal is to ensure that the software produces translations that meet the expectations of users who wish to read and interact with content on the website in those languages.

Participants will spend about 90 minutes reviewing website pages and providing feedback to evaluate the quality of the translations. They will receive a $75 gift card for their help.

At least 12 people per language are needed to complete the language testing at a testing site in Austin (in person). Speakers of the following languages are needed:

Arabic
Nepali
Pashto
Tigrinya
Vietnamese
French
Simplified Chinese
Traditional Chinese
Korean
Burmese
Urdu
Hindi
Swahili
