Nominations now open for 2025 AATIA Board election

Nominations are now open for all positions on the AATIA Board of Directors. Any AATIA active member in good standing may run for election or nominate another AATIA member.

The members of the nominating committee, Jamie Rising and Verónica Chertcoff, will be happy to answer any questions you may have about what serving on the Board entails. Feel free to email Jamie at jamie@aatia.org if you have any questions or if you wish to put your name on the ballot or nominate someone else.

The deadline for submitting nominations is November 12, 2024.

Some great perks of serving on the Board include:

• Meeting other translators and interpreters in the community
• Being involved in programming and in planning the future of AATIA
• Reimbursement of AATIA membership dues and/or membership in one other translation/interpretation association for one year

Voting will take place online in early December. The elected Board members will serve one-year terms, taking office on January 1, 2025.
