The UATI Support Fund for Translators and Interpreters in Ukraine

The UATI Support Fund was created by the Ukrainian Association of Translators and Interpreters (Українська асоціація перекладачів) to support Ukrainian translators and interpreters financially. We would like to provide this information so that our members can make up their own minds about what they want or don’t want to do to help their colleagues in Ukraine.

So far, money from this fund has been used to help Ukrainian colleagues to get evacuated from Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Kyiv Oblast, as well as other cities and villages in Ukraine, to buy medications and food, special footwear and a bullet-proof vest for our colleague who is now in the territorial defense forces.

If you would like to assist Ukrainian translators and interpreters, please make donations to one of the the following services. Natalia Pavliuk, the UATI President, posted the following statement on the UATI Support Fund website:

“I accept contributions to my accounts as it is the only possible way to do it, as the State Registration systems are closed now, and using the UATI accounts mean to go through a hell of paperwork with each contributor (I am financially responsible person of the Association) and then distribute among our colleagues according to their requests.

If you prefer to transfer money to the account of the Association, kindly collect some amount, then we will prepare all documents and transfer the funds.”
