Great Volunteer Opportunity!

Attention AATIA members! Have you ever considered volunteering for our association or serving on the board? We’re currently looking for passionate individuals who are interested in making a positive impact in our community of translators and interpreters and in supporting our beautiful profession overall.

Volunteering on the board, for example, comes with many benefits, such as:

• The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the association and the wider T&I community.
• The chance to develop leadership skills and gain valuable experience, which is helpful for future industry employment!
  -The ability to network and connect with other like-minded individuals (you’ll meet a lot of cool and really smart people!!).
• The satisfaction of giving back to the T&I community and making a difference.
• Free AATIA membership and membership in one other T&I association (e.g. ATA or ALTA; AATIA will cover the cost for the first year)
  
  Don’t worry about the time commitment – it’s not huge! General meetings and board meetings are held every other month and can be done virtually or in-person.
