Update on May 14th meeting

In addition to our previously announced book sale, the general meeting this coming Saturday, May 14, 2016, will feature a panel of some of our newer colleagues, some of whom also participated in a panel discussion with both old-timers and newcomers at our general meeting in September 2015. AATIA President Tony Beckwith will interview panelists Ruth Arellano Carroll, Sandra Rodriguez, Martha Gonzalez, and Idalia Martin about how their careers have developed, the successes they’ve achieved, and the obstacles they’ve encountered and how they’ve dealt with them. Please join us for this interesting discussion!

And don’t forget to bring along any spare dictionaries and other resources that you’d like to donate and/or come prepared to shop for some great deals on reference tools for translators and interpreters!

We’ll get under way at 1 p.m. in the usual place: Best Western Plus Austin City Hotel (austincityhotel.com) located at the corner of Oltorf and I-35, in South Austin.
