Marco’s nifty new seal

Hearty congratulations to AATIA members Robin Bonthrone and Marco Hanson, who both recently passed the American Translators Association (ATA) certification exam and are now ATA-certified translators of German into English (Robin) and Spanish into English (Marco). The overall pass rate for the exam is about 15%, so passing is quite a feat! Well done, gents!

And congrats, too, to our ISIG Coordinator Rita Pavone, whose paper “A Path To Enhanced Professionalism: Empowerment Through Teamwork And Collaboration Opportunities” was accepted for presentation at the upcoming annual conference of the Tennessee Association of Professional Interpreters and Translators (TAPIT).
